About H2O Home
Groups
"Then
those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that
day about three thousands souls were added to them." Acts
2:41
1)
Bible Study/Devotion
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine..."
Acts 2:42
One
benefit of being a part of a small group is the ability
to dive deep into the Word in a smaller environment. As
believers, we need more than just a weekly message. We
need to crack open the Bible for ourselves, and what
better chance to do so than with other believers. At
home groups, lives are enriched with intimate
conversations and studies that strengthen the individual
and the group as a whole.
2)
Build relationships
"...and fellowship, in the breaking of bread." Acts 2:42
Not
only at home groups do you grow in wisdom of God, but
you also grow spiritually and emotionally with your
church family. Eternal relationships are built and eager
Christians can connect with each other and grow as a
community of spiritual believers.
3) Have
prayer for spiritual needs
"...and in prayers." Acts 2:42
In
addition to relationships and bible study, it is
important that you give and receive prayer. No matter
what situation you may be facing, your small group
family wants to pray for you and be there for you
through it all.
"Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done
through the apostles. Now all who believed were together,
and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and
goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
So
continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking
bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness
and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with
all people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who
were being saved." - Acts 2:43-47 |
