Bishop John and Jeanie Smith became Senior Pastors of WOLM in Spring of 1983. Since then, the church body has grown from 30 to nearly 500 people. His admirable faith to God and this church is an inspiration to all! It is amazing to see what God is doing through Bishop Smith and everyone at Word of Life consider it a privilege to attend a church under his leadership.

Dell Barkley became our Worship Leader in Early Spring, 2006. Since then he has taken WOL Church to an extremely new level of worship! God has truly anointed Dell with the gift of music and singing and has blessed him with an amazing talent of songwriting. Dell also oversees the operations of our Christian School and has been doing so since Early Summer, 2007. He resides in Simpsonville, SC with his wife, Debbie Barkley and his three daughters, Delisa, Denée, and Devin.

Rand and Andrea Bentley started attending WOL Ministries in Winter 2005 and immediately became our Youth Pastors. They have a heart for reaching out to teens and for seeing every young man and every young woman reach their full potential in Christ. They personally invite anyone between the ages of 7th Grade and 12th Grade to their weekly Youth Nite on Fridays at 7pm. Rand and Andrea currently reside in Simpsonville with their son, Hayden.

Harry Bishop has been working here at Word of Life since Winter 2006 and maintains the buildings on the church campus including the Sanctuary, Church Office, and the Family Life Center. He currently resides in Simpsonville with his wife, Joyce Bishop.

Tina Leonardi has been working at WOL Ministries since Summer of 2005. She handles the operations of the Church Office and scheduling and advertising of church events. She also manages the WOL Information Center in the church. She currently resides in Pelzer, SC with her husband, Rick Leonardi, her son, Derek and daughter, Shannon.

Marie-Josée L'Heureux has been working at WOL Ministries since Fall of 2005. She handles all of the church's financial operations and accounting needs. Marie has a background of 7 years in accounting at Christian Center of Beauce Assembly of God in Quebec, Canada. She currently lives in Fountain Inn, SC with her husband, Roger, and her two daughters Judith and Jolyane.

Malen Papadopoulos has been on staff at Word of Life since Fall of 2005. She handles Pastor Smith's agenda and also assists with the basic operations of the Church Office. In addition, she assists Dell Barkley with the secretarial duties of the school. She also is co-captain of our Usher and Greeter Ministry. She currently resides in Simpsonville with her husband Mike, and her daughter, Michaela.
